Staff Accountant/ Senior Staff Accountant

We aggressively recruit energetic, driven and intelligent people to meet the demands of our exciting industry and to help us reach our vision of changing the way the world communicates. We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant / Senior Staff Accountant within our Accounting department. The responsibilities of this role include:The Staff Accountant / Senior Staff Accountant will assess the status of financial statements, identifying errors or omitted information, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. Assisting and working within the SEC and Technical Accounting teams on the preparation of the Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q and the Annual Report on Form 10-K and assisting in the preparation of additional company filings. · Prepare routine and complex journal entries, exercising sound judgment when analyzing financial results. · Take appropriate action to correct or obtain explanations for variances. · Prepare balance sheet reconciliations. · Work with personnel from assigned department to monitor accounting processes and month-end close. · Recommend and implement process improvements. · Other duties as assigned by manager.Minimum qualifications to be considered are: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.  5+ years of related work experience is required, and previous GL or consolidating experience strongly preferred.BIG 4 EXPERIENCE IS A HUGE PLUS!! Additional Details· Must have expert knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). · Intermediate MS Access required to including the ability to create reports, queries, and build databases from scratch. · Advanced MS Excel required including proficiency with V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, and Macros. · Must demonstrate willingness to assist in special assignments and projects. · Excellent verbal and written communications are required.Our client offers the following benefits: · Medical, Health Savings Account, dental, and vision insurance · 401(k) and employee stock purchase plan · Tuition reimbursement · Employee referral program · Training opportunities · Opportunity for a level of responsibility that could take years to reach in other companies  For immediate consideration, please email an attached copy of your resume to dario@csisearch.com Who We Are: CSI Search is the professional recruiting arm of The CSI Companies.
