We currently have an opening for a Sr. Sales Engineer, to work remotely and support sales in the Southeast region.  Details of the opening are as follows:



Essential Responsibilities:Assist Kentrox Sales Directors with the technical sales activities in new and existing opportunities. In-depth, hands-on experience with Kentrox products and services as well as competitor's products and services.Ability to demonstrate solid internetworking and security skills to customers and business partners. Assist with understanding customers requirements, the design of Kentrox solutions, Prepares and delivers sales presentations, presenting technical information about products and services. Conduct product demonstrations, installing product evaluations, presenting/training at seminars, Respond to RFP's and RFI's.

 Required Qualifications:BS degree in Engineering field, or equivalent5+ years general networking industry experience, including practical knowledge of TCP/IP and LAN/WAN internetworking. Experience selling and supporting carrier and service provider networking infrastructure Knowledge of carrier operations processes for fault surveillance, provisioning, maintenance, test and security Must demonstrate strong written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision-makers Knowledgeable of protocol concepts and specifications including TCP/IP, RS-232, RS449/RS530, V.35 Working knowlege of IP networking equipment and associated TCP/UDP services to include routing, switching, firewalls, terminal servers and equipment
