Typical Work Hours: Employees are expected to work at least forty (40) hours per calendar week.

This position will serve as a Project Manager for a major program within Qwest Government Systems, Inc. (QGSI), responsible for management, performance, and completion of multiple projects within this program.
Job Responsibilities:Manages all phases of a particular project from inception to completion.Interfaces with other departments and team members to prepare costs justification, recommend priority, and generate schedules.Coordinates with contractor personnel as well as the Customers COTR, site personnel, engineering and operations support.Ensures all services are delivered per the contractual terms and conditions of the specific program/project.Ensures that troubleshooting resolution, maintenance, circuit availability, and reliability fall within contractual requirements.Manages the integration of a project management team that may include: vendors, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, and administrative functional areas.Maintains contact with customer regarding technical specifications. Establishes and maintains contacts to ensure conformance to customer requirementsInterfaces and escalates issues with multiple organizations within Qwest.
Basic Job Qualifications:Preferred Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience 3 years of Project Management experience- MSProject training/experience requiredPrivate Line and IP related experence with project implementation 2+ years of project management experience, preferably in Federal Government IT/telecommunications industrySelf Starter, demonstrate ability to take customer contract requirements and implement / manage through testing/acceptance
