Sr OD & L Manager

Position Overview

This new position serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the creation and delivery of management and learning solutions for the organization. Will be responsible for the identification, design, and delivery (as necessary) of management and leadership learning solutions in support of business goals and objectives. This includes leadership/executive development, HiPo, and supervisory programs.

Partners with HR Leads and key business stake holders as appropriate. Selects appropriate instructional procedures and methods (e.g., individual training, group instruction, self study, eLearning, computer-based training, etc). Participates in the evaluation of training delivered and provides consultative services for creating and enhancing training programs. May coordinate with area or project team leaders to update and/or maintain existing curricula and communicate changes to team.

Participate in the coaching and development of other trainers to promote their personal and professional growth (includes peer coaching and providing constructive feedback). Trains assigned instructors and supervisory personnel in effective techniques for training. Partner with HR leads, executives and mid level managers to design, develop and conduct customized individual/organizational change and development interventions.

Previous Experience:

Bachelors degree in a related field. Minimum 7 years experience as an OD & Learning professional with demonstrated skills in a combination of workshop facilitation, design experience, management consulting and, team building. 4 years professional-level experience, including developing, conducting, monitoring, and analyzing a broad range of learning and development programs. Excellent platform skills. Previous management experience required. Proven experience with integrated talent management and competency models. Strong presentation, project management, interpersonal and communication skills required. Proven execution of strategic initiatives in prior positions required. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence effectively and implement organizational change. Travel and a flexible schedule required according to needs of the business.

Preferred - Experience with a company’s succession and talent management processes desired. Certification or Qualification in the following areas: Blanchard Situational Leadership, MBTI, DDI, Lominger Competency (or other). Masters in related area a strong plus.
