Sr. Manager, Business Sales Job Title: Senior Manager, Business Sales, College and Association POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, Business Sales is responsible for implementing the strategic goals of the Business Sales Channel with a principal focus on the support of the National College and Association Accounts Team. The Sr. Sales Manager has the primary responsibility of directly managing a team of 6-8 Vertical National Account Managers. Our Vertical National Accounts team implements solution-based sales strategies and uncovers new business opportunities within colleges and associations based in the region. As Sr. Sales Manager you will ensure all Vertical National Account Managers meet and exceed all sales, operational, and performance objectives by providing training, development and coaching The Sr. Sales Manager will also drive initiatives which will enhance the Business Sales internal/external customer experience, have direct interaction with Sales Leadership, Sales Staff, and Customers and maintain Cross-Channel relationships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead a team of 6-8 Vertical National Account Managers selling wireless data and voice services to colleges and associations. Focus on integrating voice and data solutions using the T-Mobile network to achieve distribution goals, sales targets and customer retention objectives. In addition to selling T-Mobile's existing wireless voice and data solutions, the Sr. Sales Manager will help launch a new array of fixed-mobile convergence solutions in the region. Build and maintain strategic relationships with high-level buying influences in key customer accounts. Ensure the College and Association sales team meet and exceed all sales, operational, and performance objectives by providing training, development and coaching. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, and supervising the Vertical National Account Managers and maintaining appropriate staffing levels to achieve balance between gross activation, CPGA & sales productivity goals. Other duties include developing & implementing recognition programs, conducting sales meetings, managing compensation programs, and other projects as directed by management. Resolving internal / external customer issues Collaborate with cross channel partners and obtain necessary resources to execute needed initiatives. Implements and executes with excellence all sales strategies, programs and services to further enhance T-Mobile's position in the Enterprise marketplace. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: As Sr. Sales Manager you will ensure all Vertical National Account Managers meet and exceed all sales, operational, and performance objectives by providing training, development and coaching. You will directly manage a team of Vertical National Account Managers within a market and assume supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred. 4 + years Sales Management experience managing Enterprise/National Accounts sales teams. 4 + years of field business to business sales management experience in a commissioned, quota driven environment. 4 + years outside sales experience at the Enterprise (Large) Account level and proven track record of success. Established sales experience selling to colleges and associations. Proven sales experience within the wireless or telecom Strong customer relations and negotiation skills required. - Strong ability to lead and guide decision making in business solutions. - The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of building winning teams and implementing sales strategies to achieve company objectives. Outstanding leadership skills; a strategic business leader able to align with company's culture and values. Excellent communication and public speaking skills. Demonstrated high ethical behavior, unquestionable integrity and character. Strong level of commitment to customer satisfaction. Human Resources and Recruiting skills. Proven success in managing P&L.
