Sr. Finance Director (Albuquerque, NM)

Position Summary:
Responsible for leading the SW Area's financial planning and analysis, monthly forecasting and annual budgeting, credit and collections, payroll, as well as assurance and compliance of all internal operational and financial business controls across the organization.

Essential Functions and Areas of Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly financial close process including preparation of P&L statements, review of accruals, variance analysis, and review of operational metrics.
• Manage the monthly forecast and annual budget processes through ensuring strategic initiatives are tightly linked with financial forecasts. Includes developing calendar of deliverables, preparation of tools for use across the market, reviewing system submissions, preparation of benchmarking analysis, and presentation to division and corporate leadership.
• Conduct financial and strategic analysis on key initiatives across the area which will include financial modeling, data gathering and analysis, and partnership with other organizations including Marketing, Call Center, Engineering, HR, Billing / MIS and the operating systems.
• Oversee internal controls for the Region and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley key controls thru continual analysis of market policies, ongoing auditing of partner organizations, education of market employees, and review of management reporting.
• Lead credit / collections process for the Region including review of collections timelines, analysis of daily results, roll-out of new initiatives, and oversight of collections vendors.
• Manage payroll operations, headcount reporting, and salary analysis across the region including bi-weekly processing of payroll, addressing employee questions, processing of employee changes, review of salary decisions, and adherence to key controls.
• Oversee the region's accounts payable, purchasing card, and cash reconciliation processes.
• Lead revenue assurance efforts across the area including review of discounting, development of the key revenue assurance metrics for the market, and partnering with Billing / MIS, Marketing, and the Call Center to determine key issues
• Partner with system and call center Business Operations Directors and Managers to support local business objectives and provide oversight over their financial operations.
• Provide ad-hoc financial and operational metrics analytical support

Required Skills:
B.S. in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience required
•5-7 years relevant financial management experience and progression, preferably in cable or communications industry
•History of successive growth positions within dynamic and growing organizations
