"Responsible for the methodical execution of detailed testing efforts on all new and existing Comcast Products and Services. This testing is performed to ensure requirement compliance as outlined by the BU, Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams as well as to pursue a zero defect customer experience. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance."

Required Skills:
"Education/Experience ? B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field. The equivalent in directly related experience and self study may be substituted. ? Experience in a Testing or a Product QA environment is preferred. ? Work experience in the Cable industry is desired but Engineering work in a related field will be considered. ? One to three years of hands on working knowledge with either Cedar Point Safari or Cisco BTS is desired ? One to three years of hands on working knowledge with PSTN Implementations as well as PacketCable Protocols (MGCP, COPS, DQOS, etc) ? Preferably 10 or more years directly related engineer experience Specialized Training ? Cable Labs DOCSIS and PacketCable Standards ? Protocol level knowledge (MGCP,SIP,COPS, NCS,SS7,DOCSIS,IP routing) ? Knowledge of PSTN Service Requirements and Implementations (e.g., CALEA, CLASS, AIN, SS7 TCAP) ? Cedar Point Safari ? Cisco BTS, MGX, and ITP's ? Openwave Messaging Platform ? SIP architecture ? CMTS - Arris C4, Cisco VXR, Motorola BSR ? eMTA's - NCS and SIP based ? Tools - Mercury Test Director / IXIA Required/Preferred Certifications ? Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCVP, CCIE ? Sun System Administration ? Linux System Administration"
