Specialist II/III-Site Acquisition
Job Description: Responsible for all aspects of site acquisition necessary to support theexpansion and upgrade of wireless networks. Responsible for the identificationand screening of potential site candidates per the parameters of the searchring. Negotiates long term leases and manages outside site acquisitionconsultants. Primary interface between ALLTEL and the landlord during thenegotiation process. Co-ordinates with project engineers to successfullyidentify, design, zone and permit the wireless facility. Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. Knowledge of site acquisition principles. 2. General knowledge ofgovernmental/municipal requirements and applicable zoning rules and regulations.3. General understanding of drawings, plat maps, title reports, surveys andtopographical maps. 4. General understanding of real estate purchase and leaseagreements. 5. Negotiates lease terms under general supervision. 6. Generalunderstanding of contract law. 7. Familiarity of FCC, FAA, NEPA and Phase Irequirements and rules. 8. Expertise in project management, time and resourcemanagement. 9. General understanding of wireless network technologies and theirdevelopment. 10. Excellent written and oral communication skills. 11. Ability touse Microsoft Office products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 12. Ability to workindependently and with general supervision. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 2 years professional level experience; or 6 yearsprofessional level related experience; or an equivalent combination of educationand professional level related experience required.
