Telava Networks is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in the San Francisco office. The candidate must be driven and possess a passion for delivering creative solutions for our existing software applications. Working collaboratively with the Engineering Manager and team of software developers, the candidate will be responsible for release management, product management, support staff and customers in the service of quality and performance of our web-based products. The candidate must be comfortable and flexible in working for a fast-moving company in a dynamic professional environment.  Must be a motivated self-starter, takes initiative and identifies problems and solutions to meet project deadlines.

 

Job Qualifications and Responsibilities: Must possess a passion for quality assurance of end-user applications 5+ years experience in diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving quality issues Familiarity with QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design and execution  Ability to develop automated custom QA solutions without relying on commercial software packages Extensive experience working in a variety of programming languages and environments Technical knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, AJAX, Action Script, and Internet technologies Working knowledge of some or all of the following quality assurance methods: unit, integration, regression, user interface automated testing Ability to launch new projects and follow through to completion Advanced experience in testing web-based enterprise applications Advanced experience in developing and executing manual and automated test suites Experience with browser and server side test automation tools  Motivated by delivering customers service satisfaction Ability to work at both detailed and abstract levels Professional verbal and written communication skills  Develop detailed test plans for each product release          Ability to solve problems creatively Must be comfortable working in a distributed team  Willingness and ability to create and adapt to new technologies  Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to resolve scheduling and other conflicts in order to meet all deadlines.
