The opening for a Senior Cisco UC Engineer is broad based and requires interaction with numerous clients, vendors, and support staff.

 

Position Responsibilities include the following:  Requirements definition, design, bill of materials creation, cost estimates, project management, project implementation, documentation, support, and troubleshooting. Act as a pre-sales technical resource, visiting numerous existing and prospective clients to provide technical consulting, site analysis, and overall technical project recommendations.  Create and deliver technical presentations. Review, interpret, and act upon client requests and/or scope changes.Act as systems engineer on multiple projects across all phases including architecture reviews, analysis, planning, design, implementation, testing, production roll out and ongoing support.  Provide timely reporting of completed projects/milestones Interface with engineers and inside sales to identify project delays due to missing hardware/software items and work with operations to resolve these issues. Interface with account manager to identify project delays due to WAN/Internet circuit scheduling, client deadlines/scheduling issues and scope changes.Work with client and other engineers to help assure that work being performed is kept within scope of project.Provide services required to 'own' customer issues until they are resolved. Hold at least two major industry certifications, i.e. CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CCDA, etc.Provide engineering services for projects including architecture reviews, analysis, planning, design, testing, production roll out and ongoing support.

Requirements:Proficiency with at  least five years experience with Cisco UC technologies is required, including: Cisco Unified Customer Voice Portal, Unified ICM,  Call Manager, Unity, Call Manager Express, UC Express, UC Enterprise, etc.  Preferred Cisco certifications include:  CCIE Voice, CCNA, CCDA, Cisco Express Foundation Field Specialist, Cisco Express Foundation Design Specialist, Cisco Life cycle Services ExpressCandidates should have a desire to gain and maintain technical skills through advanced certifications.WINNING “CAN DOâ€� ATTITUDE AND STRONG WORK ETHIC ARE A MUST!!
