Senior Technician
Farmstead Telephone Group, a reseller of telephone parts and systems is looking for a Senior Technician to perform installations and provide technical assistance for all Avaya products. RESPONSIBILITIESServe as lead technician and external project manager on high profile accounts. Perform moves, adds and changes, primarily within the northeast region. Establish remote center to handle moves, adds and changes. Provide technical support for internal associates. Perform site surveys and attend customer meetings to assist with pre-sales. Burn-in systems prior to shipment to site.
QUALIFICATIONSAS or BS degree in communications/engineering or related field or equivalent industry experience 3-4 years experience in telecommunications industry Project Manager experience establishing time lines and maintaining schedules Good communication skills both verbal and written and ability to multi-task Avaya product certification Knowledge of Avaya products, specifically all SMB Products - IP Office, Partner Systems, Merlin and Magix Knowledge of Definity and Communication Manager products a plus
