Job Description

· Work with legal and sales in reviewing revenue contracts and resolve revenue issues.

· Perform contract reviews and document revenue treatments as per accounting literature (SOP 97-2/98-9, SAB 101/104 and EITF 00-21).

· Guide revenue team in performing VSOE study for services offerings.

· Review and approve sales transactions with non-standard contract terms.

· Review month-end close activities including revenue analyses, services/product deferrals, revenue reserves and related journal entries.

· Review monthly account reconciliation and roll-forward schedules.

· Work with external and internal auditors to provide information required to complete quarterly/annual audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

· Work with revenue team and cross functional teams to increase process efficiencies.

Job Requirements

· Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

· CPA Required with prior Public Accounting experience preferred

· 8+ years accounting/revenue recognition experience

· Experienced in SOP 97-2/98-9, SAB 101/104, EITF 00-21 and Technical Practice Aids

· Solid organizational and problem solving skills and attention to detail

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to manage priorities and workflow

· Commitment to excellence and high standards

· Systems background required (PeopleSoft and Business Objects experience is a plus)
