Senior Internal Auditor

Skills Required:-BA/BS in Finance or related discipline required, MBA desirable-CPA or CIA certified or candidate-3+ years experience in conducting internal financial and operational audits in high-tech industry. -Ability to work independently-Experience with audit of U.S. GAAP financial statements-Ability to travel ~15-25%Job Description:Telcordia Technologies is seeking an Internal Auditor to join the Internal Audit department. Working under the Executive Director-Internal Audit, your primary responsibility will be to help draft and execute financial and operational audits according to documented Internal Audit Department Standards, across multiple business units and operating entities both domestically and internationally.The internal auditor will participate in developing the annual risk assessment, pre-audit planning for engagements, performance of audit testing according to the approved audit program, workpaper documentation, communication of findings, development of management recommendations and action plans, and drafting of final audit report. The internal auditor may also be asked to participate in special projects as designated by the Executive Director, and also to assist external auditors in the annual financial statement audit.
