Senior Accountant, Technology Firm

Our client, a rapidly growing technology firm is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate Accounting and Finance team.

 

Responsibilities:

·  Financial statement preparation and analysis

·  Prepare periodic schedules and reports supporting the Company's general ledgers

·  Balance sheet analysis

·  Consolidated financial statements and P/L analysis

·  Management reporting and Monthly closings

·  Perform payable aging analysis

·  Vendor management

·  Analyzing trends, costs, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future expenses

·  Expense report and purchase order systems administration

·  Invoicing, billing operations, cash receipts and posting

·  Cash receipts management and posting

·  Credit and collections

·  Manage credit card merchant accounts

·  Revenue reporting

·  Analyze sales and revenue trends

·  Supervise accounting associates

 

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree in accounting

·   4 - 6 years of general accounting experience including hands on GL, AP, AR

·  Public Accounting experience MUST!

·  Exceptional skills with MS Excel

·  Experience with Great Plains

·  Experience in the creative industry

·  MBA/CPA a plus
