Responsibilities On-site support for the following systems: Amag, Pelco, Loronix, GE, ALC, Handnet. Installation and configuration of security systems for customer cages and flex office space. Responsible for performing periodic maintenance and remedial maintenance on all security equipment in NY region IBX's. Responsible for on-site database administration and documentation for Iconics branch circuit monitoring software and security systems software. Responsible for inventory control and replacement of spare parts and additional security equipment for NY region IBX's. Vendor research, contract negotiations, and supervision of vendors providing on-site services on security system. 7 x 24 "Smart Hands" support for the Newark and Secaucus IBX's network technicians. Responsible for exchange circuit turn-ups for customers for NY region IBX's. Responsible for network systems tape backup and disaster recovery maintenance for NY region IBX's. Provide first level of support and assistance to higher level support for NY area IBX's on security systems and networking issues. Provide escalation requests for next level of tech support to HQ and/or vendors. Requirements Security systems: Amag, Loronix, Pelco, Kalatel, Handnet configuration and troubleshooting. Good knowledge of Iconics software. PLC operations, programming, and networking including Veris data gathering hardware. Installation and maintenance of security and access devices. Network protocols: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS. Fluke LAN cable testers, T-berd WAN circuit testers, and Fluke power meters. Extensive knowledge of T1, DS3, and OC circuits including testing and troubleshooting -LAN and WAN protocols. Cat5, Coax, and fiber optic termination and fault isolation.
