Job Description

Organized, independent, excellent written and verbal communication skills, persuasive, technically savvy

· Qualify and assign events in Solutions Centers

· Schedule resources for events

· Communicate with SE’s and Sales Teams to understand the sales opportunity prior to scheduling the event

· Understand Polycom technologies at a high level to properly assign events and resources

· Vendor relationship management

· Distribution of Executive Reports from Visitview

· Day of event support

· Creation of event collateral including agendas, evaluations, invoice, purchase request and budget tracking

Departmental:

· Continuous improvement: Recommendations for higher quality. Ideas for best in class briefings and solutions demonstrations

· Have a high level understanding of Polycom solutions – be a consultant to SE’s and Sales Teams to recommend solution demonstrations

· Projects: Develop and implement additional projects when appropriate…Polycom Solutions Forums, Visitview reports, web functionality for briefings and solutions demos.

Growth path:

· Briefing consultant, Sales Coordinator, Marketing PRogram Manager

Job Requirements

Two to five years experience in computer or software industry. Experience in one or more of the following: briefing centers, solutions centers, sales, marketing, product marketing, or related area.
