SatCom Field Engineer: - Dallas-TX: Base: 50-70K (Could go higher for the right individual)Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Job Description: SatCom Engineer: Integration, installation and testing of broadcast earth stations and VSAT networks â€“ includes, cable wiring, equipment mounting, electrical wiring, system checks, etc. Design and documentation of integrated systems. Technical support for customers and internal SatCom projects management. Site surveys. Installation of broadcast antenna systems.Requirements:VSAT antenna installs and large broadcast antennas a plus.3-5 years experience or Military experience.Travel required domestically and internationally typically-25 of the year.Advanced RF skills including VSAT/MFTDMA experience.LAN/WAN Networking experience. Knowledge and experience in electrical fundamentals.Experience with network protocols â€“ TCP/IP,UDP, X.25, Frame Relay, etc.knowledge of test equipment â€“ spectrum analyzer, power meter, BERT test sets, sweeper and signal generators.
