Sales Representative

This position is responsible for driving sales and achieving sales and market growth goals for a specific set of solutions.Targeted organizations are defined as organizations that have a revenue ranging from $20 - $500 million per year. Responsible for driving business development activities and market growth goals for a specific set of solutions. Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with technological partners and customers. Use a consultative approach to lead efforts to develop and cultivate relationships with new customers and identify business opportunities.  Collaborates with internal marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.  Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the retail industry, specifically the grocery and convenience store market. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 

  Collaborates with management and team in planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies for targeted retail organizations within a defined region. Takes actions that have a significant impact o a specific business function. Drives and achieves sales goals of a specific set of solutions through the sales cycle. Participate in business reviews. Act as subject matter expert for assigned solution set. Lead program executions tasks, gather competitive intelligence, and help train associates. Participate in customer prospect events and trade and product shows. Basic administrative duties needed, including updates and maintenance of appropriate.  Reporting/database systems (funnel management systems, proposal building tools, customer information.  Database and territory planning.

 

Job Requirements:


Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.  Three to five years experience with proven account management success. Prior experience in developing business in the retail market. Strong Customer relation skills.  Proven Account Management success.  Experience developing business in retail market specifically with the following type of solutions: Point-of-Sale, Digital signage, Mobility, Store Management, Consulting and Back Office Solutions.  Prior experience selling and/or servicing within the retail market. Ability to read/write English, verbal communication a must.  Strong presentation skills; customer relation skills; basic math skills.
