For over twenty years our client has been a pioneer in the development of devices for fiber-optic communication systems and continues to be a world leader in transponders, transceivers, laser diodes and photo detectors for the CATV and telecom fiber optic markets.

 



Key Responsibilities:

 In this role you will be responsible for directing sales through direct and indirect channels to OEM accounts along the east coast.  Most activity will involve key accounts in the PA, MD and NJ area.Only 25% travelWe’re looking for a strong customer oriented, relationship builder.  Many of the accounts in the territory have been customers for over 10 years.  Some of the client’s largest revenue producers are in this territory!You will be responsible for developing written sales plans for new account penetration, cultivating existing accounts and achieving major order opportunities.You will partner with the pre sales executive located in your territory to develop design wins and react quickly to the other technical needs of your account base. 



Job Requirements:

 

BSEE or Equivalent technical degree with an MBA preferred.Minimum of 5-10 years Active Optical Component background Transmission Module Marketplace experience a plus.  Proficient with PC and related sales administration applications. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
