Sales Engineer

We are seeking a Sales Engineer who will partner with our internal sales teams to provide technical expertise in the effort to leverage Mitel’s extensive communications solutions offerings and technology partnerships.

In addition: develop and provide product and application knowledge transfer sessions to both sales branches and Business Partners; provide technical designs, including analysis, configuration, and pricing that meet complex customer requirements and help solve business or technology problems; maintain a broad range of knowledge across Mitel’s IP voice and data solutions, as well as up to date knowledge in regards to other relevant technologies with which Mitel integrates, such as Microsoft and the various network vendors; meet with prospective and existing customers to understand their current technical environment, key business drivers, and future technology requirements.

The position will require the candidate to:
*Deliver product presentations, demos, evaluations and pilots for customers and partners.
*Work with sales teams to help create and implement strategic account plans.
*Build and maintain relationships with technical decision makers, influencers, and senior management.
*Participate in cross function teams providing assistance in the preparation of responses to comprehensive RFP's and the delivery of complex technical and sales oriented presentations to business partner’s & customer's technical staff and senior management.

Must have a working knowledge of:
*Voice/contact center/VoIP solutions
*Strong traditional voice background
*Strong knowledge of VoIP standards and protocols
*Networking skills including protocol and compliance knowledge
*Industry certifications including CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, CISSP, etc.
*Network Security knowledge a plus
*Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
