Location:Â Huntsville, AL 35806 Employment Type:Â Full Time, Employee Pay Rate:Â 35,000.00 - 40,000.00 USD /yearDepending on Experience Reference Code:Â 1001132869 This position reports directly to the Vice President R&D. Members of the SVT department work well as a team as well as independently, and must be available to work the required hours to meet deadlines.The ideal candidate must have at least one year programming experience using Visual Basic and/or Visual C, familiarity with Windows NT operating environment, and knowledge of client server architecture and its applications. Candidates with experience with 911 systems, networks and peripheral equipment, and/or a background in telephony and telecommunications, with familiarity and/or experience with CTI, will be given first consideration.Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:BSEE or BSCS, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of two years experience installing, testing and verification of MS Windows based software.Experience developing and utilizing automated test scripts for MS Windows applications, using Visual Test or similar tools.Knowledge of database access mechanisms such as ODBC.Ability to apply principles of quality assurance to products under development, as well as logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
