SQL Developer & Business Objects Data Universe Designer

Overview:  Reporting and Analytics department is responsible for supporting a wide range of outputs:External client base with standard and fully customized reports, dashboards and analytics.  The output provides insight regarding customer contact details, associated customer service and project performance results, as well as customer base trend analysis reporting.Internal operational intraday, daily, weekly and monthly performance reports and dashboards, as well as performance trend analysis at multiple levels across the organization (i.e. department, client-project, team and individual agent)

Position Responsibilities: This function is responsibilities include, but not limited to:Mapping data and developing SQL queries against data warehouse and other source data for Business Objects XI R3 UniverseDocumenting and maintaining associated metadataIdentify data sources, draft prototypes for user signoffDesign database views, reports and fulfillment process (automated generation and delivery)Test and release reports into production fulfillment environmentMonitoring and maintenance of automated report fulfillment processSupport Reporting team in fulfilling ad hoc reporting and analysis requests

Essential Skills and Experience:  Must be highly organized, flexible, and an attention to detail and comfortable working within aggressive timeframes.  Needs to possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field or over years of five years of experience with information systems or business systems analysis and support.Complex T-SQL and complex stored proceduresDTS, MS SQL 2005 reporting servicesMCTS, MCDBA/MCSD preferredETL and Data mining experience a plusBusiness Objects XI R2 and R3 (Edge-formerly Crystal Decision)MS Office Professional Suite (including Access 2007)Experience using MS Project, Crystal Reports XI and Xcelsius a plus
