SUMMARY Responsible for the recruitment and selection of professional and technical staff for exempt, non-exempt, and hourly positions using both internal and external sources. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintains effective working relationships with all levels of company management to ensure adequate coverage of personnel needs. Recruits, screens, and interviews applications for employment. Administers employment tests if appropriate. Consults with management to recommend and identify most qualified applicants. Coordinates internal job posting and transfers programs. Checks references on potential hires and extends offers to selected candidates. Ensures that recruitment and employment activities are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures Development of effective recruitment campaigns to meet time-to-fill goals. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or two years related work experience, preferably with strong sales background; or equivalent experience and/or training. One year lead/supervisory experience preferred. Be able to identify, understand and explain technical responsibilities and skill sets required by business partners. SKILLS Strong communication and interviewing skills. Must have solid knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and requirements of the federal Selection Guidelines and the Americans with Disabilities Acts. Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff. Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills. Proficient in computer use including database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications. Flexible, innovative and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and nontechnical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
