RF Engineer – UMTS Technology (Contractor)
Major Responsibilities:
Individual contributing member of a team-using Schema's advanced wireless solutions within leading service providers throughout the world. Candidates should have extensive optimization experience with wideband technologies, an advanced knowledge and understanding of the network design and simulation tools.
Basic required skillsMust have experience with Motorola and Huawei.Advanced understanding of UMTS systems with experience designing, and optimizing large networks.Proficiency in the use of UMTS design and optimization tools.Utilize your UMTS knowledge to effectively understand customer needs and adapt/configure Schema’s SW solutions to most effectively meet customer objectivesGuide the customer through the Schema process, discuss major RF issues in the market with the customerCollect and analyze customer performance dataAnalyze before/after system performance and develop comparison reportsConfigure Schema software within the customer environmentReview growth requirements with customer’s engineering staffMust understand Methodology and theory of RAN planning and optimizationOptimize the network using Schema’s products and methodologiesValidate Drive Test data and predictionsRecommend actions to fix post implementation problemsImplement retunes using Schema’s recommendations Support goals and objectives of Schema and customer management.
