QA Testing Consultant Opportunity

Alliance Telecom Solutions- Senior QA Test Consultant

 

Great Opportunity!! Alliance is currently seeking Senior QA Test Consultant for a 6+ month contract to work with one of our top clients. Must be based in Atlanta.

 

PROJECT:

 

Alliance is currently seeking a candidate with project management and testing knowledge that can help plan and lead major testing efforts. Consultant will be responsible for meeting with client, reviewing documentation, coming up with a test strategy, putting together a test team, and communicating status to managers and above. Must be able to keep track of aggressive schedule.

 

PROJECT/DUTIES:

 

Ø  Responsible for designing a test plan, defining test procedures and will need to work with finance, project management and business process people at the client site along with the managers responsible for the individual BSS/OSS to fix their testing issues.

Ø  Review test requirements, develop test plans, test data and expected results necessary to thoroughly test the business requirements for billing system enhancements or new products

Ø  Responsible for documenting and resolving testing issues and ensuring software is working while producing a high quality final product out of the test phase to be released into Production

 

SKILLS NEEDED:

 

Ø  Must have at least 2 years Project Management experience and a very comprehensive knowledge of testing.

Ø  Minimum 2+ years telecom experience

Ø  Minimum 5 yrs. experience designing, developing and executing test strategies, test plans and test cases.

Ø  Four years technical experience with SQL, Oracle and Microsoft Office.

Ø  College degree in a combined business and/or technical field (preferably IS related).

Ø  Team player with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and ability to work in fast paced dynamic environment.

Ø  Experience in Mercury Interactive software (QuickTest Pro, WinRunner, and Test Director) a major plus.
