Career Level:  Experienced (Non-Manager) Job Summary The role requires strong candidates who have the following: • Industry experience in testing large scale enterprise products. • Industry experience in Internet technologies, protocols, and application delivery. • Industry experience in SQL and relational databases. • Proven track record in functional testing including test plan creation, defect tracking and end to end testing • Diverse interests and a passion for technology. Essential Job FunctionsBuild Test Scripts & Plans Execute Automation Scripts Functional Testing Attend Meetings and coordinate test coverage/support Regression Testing System Level Testing User Acceptance Testing Go/No Go Meeting attendance and accountability Boundary Testing Security TestingSpecific Requirements (Technical Knowledge, Software, Etc.) Requirements: • Test Experience 2+ years • Experience with HP (Mercury) Quality Center, QTP • Strong SDLC exposure and experience • Experience in test frameworks and in test automation. • Proven track record for high quality product delivery. • Knowledge of various testing techniques and approaches. • Driven, creative, and result oriented. • Unix familiarityAdditional Skills (would like to have but not required) • Knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of test automation tools. • Performance, Load, Stress Testing with Automation • Telecommunication experience a plus Education • BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent.
