JOB DESCRIPTION:Job Duties:This position is responsible for quality coding and unit test while working with subordinates and peers in a team environment. Development methodology includes translating requirements into technical design, coding and verifying code, creating builds and objects, develop and execute unit tests to assure quality, supporting QA testers, and phase appropriate documentation and management reporting. Additional tasks include requirement reviews, evaluations adn estimates, imput to project planning, client integration support and debugging, and maintaining high quality standards.Knowledge and Skills:The position requires good oral communication, written communication, planning, organizing, controlling, leadership, decision-making, problem solving, and judgment skills. Strong Microsoft SQL 2000/2005 Programming skills with Microsoft Windows experience. Must be familiar with development tools (Visual Studio, Microsoft Office, Visio) and industry standards. Must be proficient in database design, analysis, T-SQL, unit testing, integration and deployment support. The ability to design and write program specification, build complex programs to meet user requirements and develop and execute appropriate tests. Proficient in .NET 1.1, .NET 2.0, ADO.NET, Microsoft SQL 2000, Microsoft 2005.Location:Las Vegas, NevadaOTHER CRITERIA:Employer will not sponsor visas for position.There is no relocation available for this position.UPS is an Equal Opportunity Employer
