Position: Product Analyst
Vibes Media is the leading player in the exploding new field of marketing via the mobile phone. Vibes has world class technology capable of developing and executing any kind of interactive mobile programming whether it includes text messaging, ring tones, picture messaging, wallpapers, games, etc. The company operates as a marketing and promotions services company, focusing on developing and implementing innovative programs that use our technology to drive revenue for our clients.

Description
Vibes is growing rapidly and is seeking an experienced Product Analyst. Principal responsibilities include working with our Product Manager to define strategy, create roadmaps and define detailed requirements for our next generation of products.

Ideal candidate will be an expert Product Analyst who has:

• Ability to extract business requirements from management and market analysis to create remarkable products
• Effective presenter to a variety of audiences
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Track record of high performance
• Good problem solving and trouble shooting skills
• Strong leadership capabilities, ability to drive team direction in an environment of ambiguity, ability to make decisions

Specific roles are:
• Work with product managers in defining the strategy for our next generation products
• Assist with build vs. buy decisions of technology enablers
• Translate product requirements into functional/technical specifications, and lead cross functional teams to deliver the solution
• Manage product development through the creation and maintenance of business and functional requirements, process workflows, user stories, reporting requirements and test cases
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Account Management and Technology to understand feasibility and constraints of potential alternative solutions
• Oversee the creation of Functional Specifications including User Stories, Process/Workflow, Wireframes, Error Messages, Interface Specifications and Test Cases
• Communicate team's accomplishments upward and outward throughout organization
• Assist QA in confirming that coded software behavior matches the requirement specifications
• Work with all affected groups to drive projects to completion

Reporting
Reports to the Product Manager

Job Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years of technology experience
• Experience with AGILE development methodology
• Experience writing functional specifications for a software solution
• Mobile experience a plus

Educational Requirements: Position requires a minimum of a B.A. or B.S. Degree.
