Product Line Manager

Job Summary:

As the Product Line Manager at Performance Technologies you will help define and drive product marketing plans and activities that deliver on agreed revenue and release goals. The Product Line Manager will determine product messaging and collaborate with both Corporate and Signaling Marketing organizations to ensure its effective delivery. As part of the role, the Product Line Manager will use their expert knowledge of the telecom industry, signaling products, wireless applications, sales cycle and channel, market trends and marketing methods to achieve desired results.

A valid passport is required, as the role involves occasional travel.

The Product Line Manager duties including the following: Develop and execute the product marketing plan for SEGway product line
Act as the voice of the customer internally within Performance Technologies
Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers across the organization to drive consistency and excellence in deliverables
Deliver the substance and content for, and contribute to the planning and execution of product launches and marketing campaigns
Supply engineering team with regular feedback from sales teams and channel and participate in product release planning to ensure their customers are represented
Drive creation of customer-facing product marketing content (e.g. data sheets, case studies, online demonstrations, speaking opportunities, webinars)
Develop and deliver product sales tools to support the desired prospect experience (e.g. product demonstrations, presentations, proposal templates, and whitepapers)
Monitor competitive activity and develop counter strategy
Develop and deliver competitive materials, competitive presentations
Assist with the development and delivery coordination of sales training internally and work with channel marketing teams as required to adapt for the channel partners
Monitor industry and technology trends and suggest items or topics as candidates for PR and product management activity/response
Provide content expertise as required to support region-specific lead/demand-generation programs
Ensure the maintenance of all communication vehicles that supply product marketing materials

Required Skills and Work Experience:6-8 years of post Engineering/MBA experience, with strong exposure to solutions marketing in the telecommunications industry and in particular, wireless market.
Knowledge of network protocols including SS7, Sigtran, SIP
Demonstrated capacity for developing, understanding and executing on product strategy.
Experience creating and successfully implementing global product marketing plans for complex technology products
Experience in presenting to various levels and sizes of audiences
Experience creating messaging for a set of products or services
Solid track record and evidence of creative communication (written and verbal) skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills to articulate technical concepts and capabilities in written and visual collaterals.

University degree or equivalent experience
