Portuguese Marketing Specialist

We are currently seeking a Portuguese Marketing Specialist within our Marketing department. The responsibilities of this role include:DISH Network, a Fortune 250 company with a location in Northern New Jersey, is looking for a Portuguese Marketing Specialist. The Portuguese Marketing Specialist is responsible for the planning and execution of day to day marketing activities to market our variety of Portuguese product/services in the United States. Coordinates the creation, production and shipping of sales and marketing materials Work closely with agency to develop media plans to promote Portuguese product/services to the Portuguese and Brazilian communities in the United States. Develop quarterly and annual marketing plans to acquire new subscribers and retain existing sub base. Execute the approved marketing plans in a timely manner. Communicate and educate sales forces including direct sales and retail sales team about market updates, competition environment and sale strategies for selling Portuguese and Brazilian products/services. Maintains related database(s) and generates internal database information, such as lists and counts, financial performance and/or other information as required to monitor and evaluate assigned projects. Tracks, collates, and maintains inventory of artworks, marketing materials and promo items. Conducts marketing research and monitors competitive activities; analyze market conditions in Portuguese American communities in the U.S. Coordinates trade show exhibits, promotions, packaging, shipping, and staff travel plans. Travels to and participates in trade shows when necessary.Minimum qualifications to be considered are:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Details: Must be familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures within the telecommunication industry. Multicultural Marketing background/experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Must be able to read, write and speak Portuguese.
