Order Entry/Management Representative

Process external customer purchase orders and requests from sales staff. Responsible for setting up, updating and maintaining accurate customer account and contact information in designated database, order reconciliation and balancing, filing, copying, and assisting supervisor with various projects.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Receive and process new orders and check them for accuracy. Run associated credit checks. Scan orders and any changes to existing accounts into appropriate files.  Work with sales agents, representatives or end users to retrieve any missing information. Maintain and update all files relating to order status, promotion tracking and returned to sales statistics. Review initial orders to ensure billing options and rates have been properly input. Route orders to specified department or unit to prepare orders for a designated location. Work directly with other departments to ensure accurate billing.Act as a main point of contact for all agents’ customers and assist with checking the status of their orders. Develop and maintain excellent rapport with both internal and external customers.Maintain an excellent working knowledge of products, new product offering, price changes, sales promotions and order processes.

Contribute to building a positive team morale and support everyone's efforts to succeed.

 

Education and/or Experience   Bachelor's degree (B. A.) preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Customer Service and/or Telecom experience preferred.Experience interpreting CSR’s a plus.
