Optical Care Engineer -Dallas, TX
Provide advanced level Technical Support to OPTICAL ULTRA-LONG HAUL customers in North America. 1. Detailed Certification and testing with customers throughout product feature roadmap.
-Technical support for detailed certification and report/track issues directly with Development organizations
- New SW-release updates to customer’s networks as individual specialist
- Participate in all customer’s release tests at appropriate lab facility
- Participate in customer technical case review meetings
- Integration of Optical Ultra-Long Haul products into customer networks
- Support of customer trials of new technology and features.
- Detailed Certification testing and support of all OBS systems
- Testing in Customer and/or NSN Certification labs
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experinece
-Training in transmission Networks
-Strong background in Optical technologies
-Strong background inNetwork Management systems
-Development or System test experience
-TCPIP
-Strong Customer Service experience (5 years)
-Extensive travel required 50% or more
