OSS Engineer
Lab and field testing of the Access & Circuit/Packet Core Element Management Systems (EMS). This includes testing of the software and hardware configurations for both GSM and UMTS Systems, Documentation per process, coordinating the activities in the lab and the field and interfacing with the National OSS management teams, end users and vendors. provides Post FOA support to end users and operational teams and follow up on technical requirements with customers and vendors.
Resume should have
1) Extend of experience with UNIX: UNIX user, UNIX programmer, administrator, detailed or working knowledge of UNIX?
2) Any expertise with major Operating systems: Linux, Windows, HP UNIX,..
3) Oracle or Sybase database knowledge
4) Knowledge of CORBA interface? in general 3GPP standard? Any other standard?
5) Familiarity with mobility network: the general network architecture, how a call is made ( besides dialing a number and pushing the send bottom), what is required to manage/monitor a network
6) Project management? Direct working with vendors/suppliers or customers?
7) have they used vendor EMS/OSS system? For what purpose? And which one(s)?
8) Understanding of development & verification cycle
