Due to our continued growth, Primex Wireless is seeking a Pre/Post sales, network engineer with a passion and natural talent for computer networking. You will work in a fast paced environment performing pre and post sales network consulting and senior level technical support to Primex Wireless customers.

Position Responsibilities: Deliver advanced or complex proof of concept evaluations/prototypes and design proposals that mesh with the customer network architectureProvide senior level customer support for technical issues both during and after a sales cycle.Install, or assist in the installation of Primex Wireless network enabled products on customer networks.Develop or assist in the development of needs analysis and RFP responses. Develop comprehensive technical account plans in conjunction with sales representatives that include: technical qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, trial/prototype plans and closure planning.Provide senior level product presentations and demonstrations for network enabled products.

 

Qualifications and Experience: 3+ years of network design/architecture in a consulting environment that include:Demonstrated understanding of all facets of campus LAN and WAN architecture including Layer 3 and 4 Cisco Campus switching. Routing (OSPF, EGRIP) VLAN configuration and ACL analysis.Experience designing and troubleshooting WiFi networks using industry standard technologies such as Cisco Aironet and ArubaExperience configuring and troubleshooting firewall/UTM technologies such as Cisco ASA, Juniper, and Checkpoint.Linux administration experience with SuSE or Red HatAbility to perform basic system administration using the linux command line without outside technical assistance to include TCPIP, DNS, HOSTS, NTP and SSH configurations. Understanding of the Linux file system, associated permissions, and remote file share mounting.

Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and / or 3-5 years of work related experience in computer network engineering as outlined in the qualifications section above.

Position will require approximately 25-50% travel, international travel is a possibility; a valid US Passport or equivalent will be required



Certifications: (strongly preferred)Red Hat Linux RHCTSuSE Linux CLPCisco CCNP or CCDP
