BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

To insure prompt, efficient and reliable installation and repair service to Comcast customers by ensuring compliance with all Comcast policies and procedures to meet the objectives of the department

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

1. To insure prompt, efficient and reliable installation and repair service to customers
2. To train all technicians by utilizing formal and hands-on field training methods
3. To help any of the technicians when assistance is needed
4. To recruit, train, coach, counsel and discipline when needed to insure effective productivity
5. To get involved with any customer problems and find a resolution
6. To work with other departments so as to improve the company performance and customer satisfaction
7. To improve the performance of the installation and repair departments
8. To insure that company policies are followed by all technicians, and that the company provides technicians with all necessary support
9. Must be able to lift 75 - 100 pounds routinely when required in performance for job
10. Must comply with all applicable safety regulations as defined by OSHA and Employer
11. Other duties may be assigned


Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance

Required Skills:
NECESSARY OR REQUIRED SKILLS:

High School diploma or equivalent

Must have the following:

Four years of cable field experience
Extensive knowledge of all types of cable installations
Extensive knowledge of all types of signal faults
Must have very strong organizational skills
Must be capable of showing by example, how to install cable and run service calls to completion
Must be computer literate
Lift and carry up to 75 pounds
Must be able to climb utility poles
Physical demands are driving for long periods of time digging, crawling, stooping, and standing. Climbing on ladders, telephone poles
Work outside throughout the year in various weather conditions, including temperature extremes.
Must be able to accept and comply with all OSHA safety measures
Good conversational skills and good grooming are required
Valid Texas drivers license with satisfactory driving record a must
