NOC Techician

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the NOC technician include but are not limited to complex network troubleshooting and quickly identifying appropriate internal and/or external support services to resolve network issues. Qualified candidates must have knowledge of Cisco, RedBack, Adtran and Alcatel DSLAM, xDSL, TCP/IP, routing and switching, including BGP, MPLS, OSPF protocols. Candidates must also demonstrate a working knowledge of DSL technology, including DSLAM’s, CPE equipment and traffic profiling. Must have Experience with T1, T1-IMA, SONET, FTTH technology, ONT, ONV, PPPOE, PPPOA and bridging connectivity. Familiarity with ATM, Frame Relay backbone.
