Marketing Manager I

Career Level:  Experienced (Non-Manager) Plan and implement marketing programs. Develop strategic communication initiatives and implement tactical plans to drive sales and customer retention. Marketing Manager will be accountable for communication strategies and tactics to drive awareness and response for Vonage, in coordination and collaboration with the other members of the Marketing team. Will interface and represent all Vonage brands, services, and offers. Lead internal and agency resources from idea through implementation. Responsible for investment/budget management for assigned programs.-Day to day management and interface with Marketing counterparts, agency partners, and partnership groups (as needed). -Manage and oversee the strategic development and execution of marketing programs and communications. -Collaborate with Product Marketing, and lead development of fully integrated internal and external campaigns and promotional programs as appropriate to accomplish partnership channel marketing communications goals. -Provide oversight and manage relationship with agency partners on assigned programs. -Oversee all financial aspects of all communications investments, partner with Marketing Operations and Finance for decision support and analysis. Lead the team to ensure delivery of KPI measurement, tracking and reporting. -Lead the development of communications strategies and tactics to create awareness, understanding, support and delivery of the Brand Promise, vision and positioning internally and externally. -Manage budget effectively. -Travel during weekends is required, and the travel requirement is to be estimated to be less than 20%.-Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations or related area or equivalent education and relevant work experience with a track record of progressive development. -4-7 years experience in corporate marketing communications or advertising services agency. -Experience in telecommunications and consumer marketing -MBA, Masters degree, other post-graduate level education -Prior agency experience at management level. -Effective verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills. -Effective organizational, project planning, and management skills, both personally and across diverse team, agency and cross functional resources. -Demonstrated experience and ability in effectively leading development and execution of advertising, media, promotions, public relations, sports and events marketing strategies and tactics to achieve stated objectives. -Technical understanding of integrated marketing communications functions, from concept to production, across all media types, as well as sponsorship activation and management, and effective utilization of communications technology. -Ability to work effectively with senior level executives. -Strong self-starter with the ability to work effectively with and lead high performing teams. -Strategic marketing communications leadership with ability to contribute to efforts at all levels within the corporation (manager to executive).For quick consideration apply here Vonage The Broadband Phone Company service is redefining communications by offering consumers and small business- VolP Internet phones, an affordable alternative to traditional telephone service.
