Marketing Coordinator (Houston, Texas)

Essential Functions of the Position
• Research competitive products/features/benefits, analyze risks/opportunities for Comcast, tracking & analysis of competitive offers
• Track and catalog competitive marketing materials, press releases and news coverage.
• Collect and send competitive mail to our third party competitive intelligence company.
• Act as a liaison for product marketing and competitive related topics to sales channels, technical operations and other functional areas.
• Provide internal communications and information, training, and motivation related to sales activities and customer relations.
• Work with other departments to enhance product knowledge and sales knowledge & retention.
• Work closely with area and regional marketing to ensure that communication of current promotions and campaigns are accurately and effectively communicated.
• Coordinates and implements general projects for marketing areas including customer retention, competitive and maintenance such as: campaigns/promotions, collateral, consumer messaging, special events, new service launches and more.
• Track, monitor and measure retention programs for effectiveness and report results.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
Qualifications
• Proficient with multi-tasking, completing projects in a timely manner and communicating project/status on a regular basis
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Access and other MS Office software
• Ability to be flexible and change directions often and quickly without being prompted
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required
• Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of general office procedures, interdepartmental communications, marketing and advertising is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with varying priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to handle field inquiries through effective communications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with initiative and eagerness to help.
• Extreme attention to detail, highly organized, and ability to work independently.

Education
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field

Related Work Experience
• 2 or more years of experience in marketing
• Marketing Operations experience
• Cable Marketing experience
