Marketing Assistant

Job Description

The Marketing Assistant will provide administrative and marketing support with the daily operation of the marketing group.  This position requires superior communication skills and the ability to thrive/contribute in a team environment.  This position requires a detailed-oriented individual who is able to multi-task, often focusing on several major projects at once.  Applicant must be a self starter with a strong work ethic and good organizational skills.  Requires an Associates or Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years equivalent marketing experience.

 

Experience Desired:

 

·  Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).

·  Experience with major design programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, PageMaker etc.).

·  Experience working with digital photography (digital cameras).

·  General understanding of marketing principles and Brand consistency.

·  Graphic design skills a plus.

Specific Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

·  The primary role for this position is to assist the Director of Communications however, the position also requires willingness to pitch in to support other functions as needed.  

·  Manage library of marketing resources, pictures and archives.

·  Photograph product for documentation, press releases and website.

·  Assist in the daily administrative marketing duties.

·  Assist in creating/organizing presentations and reports

·  Assist in distribution of marketing materials

·  Responsibilities include helping to create, edit and proof presentations, brochures, direct mail and event collateral, etc. for a variety of audiences (digital and print). All materials to be produced in compliance with approved corporate graphic branding standards.
