Manager of Financial and Tax Reporting

The Manager of Financial and Tax Reporting will be responsible for the development and preparation of both internal and external financial reports. This position will also be responsible for the accurate and timely filings of the various Federal, State and Local taxes related to telecommunication regulations.

 

Objectives include:

1.  Develop and prepare internal financial reports to provide useful metrics for all management levels. 

2.  Interact with various business channels to create value-added reporting.

3.  Prepare external financial reports in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations.

4.  Develop and maintain processes for timely and accurate Federal, State and Local taxes related to telecommunication regulation.

5.  Coordinate preparation and communication with Regulatory Agencies.

6.  Assist with period–end closings.

7.  Assist with periodic general ledger reconciliations and analytic reviews, as needed.

8.  Assist with the development of Internal Control Processes for Financial Reporting.

 

Requirements include:

1.  An undergraduate accounting degree from a four-year accredited university.

2.  At least 8 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.

3.  Experience with Regulatory Agency Compliance is preferred.

4.  Served in a financial management capacity with a financial reporting role in a publicly traded company is preferred.
