Responsibilities
§ Support of end user computing environment (desktop support); 500+ users in US & EU.
§ Responsible for day-to-day operations of a mixed Windows environment (2000, 2003, 2008, XP, Vista).
§ Responsible for WAN and LAN infrastructure of Cisco switches and routers as well as management of Fortigate firewalls.
§ Implementation of security processes and procedures to protect network and operating systems from vulnerabilities.
§ Evaluate, define and manage infrastructure strategy to ensure capabilities of supporting current and future business demands at optimal cost and ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
§ Forecasting, Budget and Resource Allocation with regard to IT projects.
§ Oversee highly complex IT projects and work with outside business partners or vendors.
§ Responsible for assembling and coordinating project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
Experience
§ 4+ years of experience in server architectures and administration using Microsoft Windows technologies.
§ 3+ years experience in administration and engineering with Exchange (2003).
§ 2+ years of experience with Active Directory, IIS, scripting, DHCP, WINS, and DNS.
§ 2 + years of experience in network design and management using Cisco routers, switches, and security products. Specific security products include Fortigate firewalls and VPN concentrators.
§ 2+ years of experience with Dell servers, desktops, and laptops.
§ 2+ years of project management.
§ Any experience with the following is a plus: Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, Big Brother, Netcool, Remedy, IDS, VoIP, Solaris, Linux.
