Manager of Applications Development

This role provides management of the development and design functions including supervision of the application development staff and coordination with Business Analysis group regarding definition of computing requirements; system management and programming.  The Manager will plan, coordinate, design and lead the programming efforts and implementation of new software, as well as provide architectural direction and administrative support for daily operational activities of the development and IT departments.  This position works closely with the Director of IT and other managers to identify, recommend, develop, budget, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. 

I f you have a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science), or an equivalent combination of education and experience in addition to a minimum of 5 years experience working with enterprise relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server, 5 years of hands on experience with (Visual Basic, C#, and or ASP), and experience leading a team of software developers, we want to talk to you! Additional experience and knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle Databases, database programming and analysis, data modeling, database design, systems develop methodologies, .net based technologies as well as programming skills in ASP .NET, VB .NET, and ADO .NET required.
