And we currently have opportunities for you to join our team.We are seeking an effective communicator to interface with external clients and internal customers to identify business needs and to create solutions in the following role: Manager, Information TechnologyCedar Rapids, IARESPONSIBILITIES: Work with cross-departmental teams to ensure that project deadlines are met and output quality consistently meets or exceeds predetermined team and departmental goals. Interface with clients and/or internal departments to discover, examine, identify, quantify and qualify their business needs. Develop and implement project and conversion plans. Plan and control systems projects as part of the development team. Prepare data and process models. Perform quality reviews of testing. Directly supervise IT staff, including interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; administering salary; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Work with staff to set project priorities and requirements. Analyze, document, and resolve problems to ensure project effort is in accordance with departmental quality standards and procedures. Work with team(s) to ensure project deadlines are met and output quality consistently meets predetermined team and department goals. Promote process improvement steps within team (tracks, sets measures, analyzes, and outlines implementation plans). Promote process improvement steps within team (tracks, sets, managers, analyzes and communicates implementation plans to other IT departments' and functional groups' management on status, issues, budgets and problems).REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree is required; Concentration in Computer Science or related field is preferred. Software development, database development or technical development experience is required. 2-4 years experience in a technical lead or supervisory capacity is required. Excellent analytical/problem solving, communication, and project management skills are required. Excellent leadership skills. Experience with departmental budgets preferred. Strong presentation skills with the ability to speak before internal and external groups. Ability to multi-task and adapt to change. Strong organizational skills.
