Manager, Enterprise Web Services

The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Manager, Enterprise Web Services for our Technology Service Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Essential Job Functions:
The Manager of Enterprise Webservices provides oversight and management to a team of 9-12 professionals within the Technology Services Group. Partnering with Divisional and Corporate WebServices Stakeholders visions and architects an Enterprise wide Web Services Platforms. Provide Technical Guidance and Assistance to the Applications Development Groups; Oversee the deployment of individuals to multiple projects and/or major development efforts in support of implementation teams. Ensure that individuals fulfill responsibilities in accordance with departmental methodology and other applicable parameters to ensure the quality of products and services; -Assist team members with prioritization or escalation of issues. Facilitate collaboration across disciplines (e.g., business analysts, QA analysts, developers) and projects, and assist teams with the resolution of issues; Measure, track, and report on development efforts across the division to facilitate adherence to acceptable development methodology and support of stated project, department, and division objectives. Strong background in the Agile software development methodology.

Job Requirements:
Strong background in implementing enterprise initiatives on a large scale; Working knowledge of middleware, J2EE, XML, C#,- Asp.net, Advanced Stored procedures (SQL), html, dhtml, javascript, CSS, SQL Server 2000/2005, load balancing, clustering, SAN technologies, Web analytics, and webservices;

Educational Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent education/training/experience. Advanced degree and/or certifications preferred; Competency Assessments: Expert analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with complex applications, technologies, and businesses; Demonstrated proactive customer service skills; Demonstrated ability to think strategically; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Demonstrated project management skills (develop project charter and scope, allocate resources, track progress, etc.), including managing multiple projects and setting/negotiating priorities; Advanced problem solving and analytical skills; Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions; Meeting facilitation and presentation skills; Demonstrated team leadership and delegation skills; Demonstrated ability to manage in a matrixed environment; Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manages priorities, and mentor/direct others. Demonstrated teamwork skills.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
