MIDS/Systems Instructor (3297)
Location Carlsbad CAJob Responsibilities The candidate will provide training in the areas of MIDS applications, engineering, integration, testing, analysis and Link 16. Position involves extensive customer instruction, as well as coordination with ViaSat development engineering, manufacturing, and business development teams to address all manners of MIDS technical issues. Candidate will help to introduce existing and new operational MIDS/LINK 16 equipment, support, equipment, and documentation. The candidate will develop instructional course material and manage training courses.Experience/Skills Required Experience with MIDS-LVT and its various host platforms is a plus. Experience in standardized military training and curriculum development is very desirable. Experience with military line-of-sight and/or satellite based radio communications a plus. Ability to understand new operational environments and military host systems. Familiarity with and the usage of operational and test systems that are used with the MIDS/JTIDS tactical radio systems. Excellent oral and written communication skills along with the ability to organize technical ideas into reports.
