Requirements:

This position is replacing an incumbent who elected not to relocate as a part of the Corp HQ relocation to Dallas. If the position is filled by a San Antonio based manager, the enhanced Corporate HQ relocation plan will apply. If this position is filled by a manager outside of Dallas who otherwise would be subject to relocation to take the position, then the normal relocation plan(s) apply.

AT&T is looking for a compensation consultant to support the design and administration of management positions. This position is responsible for internal client support and can focus on design, administration, or a combination thereof. General responsibilities include market pricing, job evaluation, and providing guidance and counsel to HR, Staffing, and other business partners regarding compensation topics. Responsible for supporting the design and development of the Management Compensation and/or Sales Compensation plans. May audit jobs for content. Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine companys competitive position. Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices. Participates in compensation surveys conducted by other companies. Formulates recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, FLSA classification, job revisions, organizational structures, etc. Reviews requests for new or revised management positions to determine appropriate level assignment. Participates in and supports the annual Base Salary Merit Adjustment (BSMA) process. Assists in the development, installation, and administration of Management and/or Sales Compensation programs.

Required Degrees/Majors/Accreditations/Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize projects and have the ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously. Requires patience and flexibility. Ability to work independently with minimal instruction. Solid work ethic. Intermediate PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access skills. Desired Degrees/Majors/Accreditations/Skills: Ability to work with all levels of management. Basic knowledge of market pricing methodology, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and general compensation practices. Prior compensation or HR experience.
