Lead Technician III - Telecommunications

We are currently seeking a high caliber Services Tech – Telecommunications for a direct hire posting within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Greenville, SC, you will be working for one of the marker leaders in delivering communication solutions to business customers requiring everything from voice and data, to internet and private networking.

 

Description: 

Working on a data translations team.  Preformed daily configuration and troubleshooting of CISCO routers with Field Technicians.  Proficient use of WAN Technologies such as MPLS, ATM, DCS, MUX, and VoIP Setups.  Working with our client’s customers to configure private networking products involving VPN setup and site to site PPP/ Frame relay connections.   

 

Experience:

• 3-5 years of technical experience in the data or voice communications environment.

• Some telecommunications experience required.

• Knowledge of some Cisco networking equipment, Sonus Network equipment, multiple test equipment, class 5 switches required.

 

Skills:

• Outstanding oral and written skills required.

• Excellent customer contact skills.

• Must have high level of interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.

• Ability to work under pressure, builds and motivates a team, and has a desire to provide “World Class Service�.
