Lead AV Technician/Project Foreman - Direct Hire Position

We are searching for a Lead AV Installer Technician/Project Foreman for a full time/direct hire position in the Baltimore MD area.  The company is a national organization and a leader in the AV Installation and Integration industry.  There is plenty of room for advancement in this position.

Description

The position centers on the installation of A/V Systems - Cabling and Components - and the supervision of other installation technicians on the jobsite.  Minimum of 2 years of experience installation both simple and integrated AV Systems.  This position reports to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities/DutiesUnderstand the scope of work for each project; install systems by reading and following drawings and to complete projects within the quoted hoursCoordinate multiple tasksTake direction from senior associatesAbility to communicate effectively with clients, in-house personnel and sales associatesCompletion of paperwork: timesheets, documentation and installation worksheets

ExpectationsReview the project documents prior to the start of the jobTake all installations from start to finish; tasking others in an efficient mannerDaily communications with the Project Manager on delays, requirements, and general job statusTraining of apprentices on company procedures, systems and installation techniquesSome out of town travel may be requiredA valid and current drivers license and clean driving record required
