The Latin America Sales Engineer is responsible for partnering with the Account Managers in the region to provide pre-sales technical and sales support to JDSU Communications Test & Measurement customers and Channel Partners. Responsibilities will include: providing product presentations, quotations, proposals, and product training and when necessary, provide onsite technical assistance to customers ultimately resulting in achieving sales goals for the Latin America Region.

 

 

To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess the following:

 

1.  Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical sales in the telecom market with preferred knowledge in SONET/SDH, fiber optics test equipment, DWDM, Metro Ethernet and access technologies.

 

2.  Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing sales environment with excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude.

 

3.  Willingness to travel throughout the Latin America region.

 

4.  Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.

 

5.  Bilingual in English and Spanish. (read and write fluently)
