p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Responsibilities The Knowledge Management (KM) team within National Marketing Operations is responsible for the Project Management and integrity of information within InfoManager (the online reference system for all front-line employees), InfoCenter (the online reference system for Indirect Agents) and VZWeb (the National Marketing). This position is vital to the daily strategic operation of the business in the Areas and will have visibility at the Director level and above. Ensures the right information is available at the right time and in the right way. Core responsibilities include:Edit Knowledge Management Content:· Manage and maintain accuracy and integrity of all topic content including policies, processes, procedures etc. in a concise and timely manner· Ensure authored content is refined for optimal extractability of data, applying standardized writing guidelines and content modeling methodology· Collaborate with product management and area teams to update various support content and continuously improve online materials· Analyze reports pertaining to tool usage and errors and correct issues· Team with content authors to review, edit, and upload content into standardized content templates · Edit all incoming material for spelling, grammar, and formatting standards before postingPublish Knowledge Management Content:· Work directly with Marketing, Customer Service and Sales to ensure correct and accurate product presentation· Apply User Interface and End User Experience methodology· Assess and approve authored/edited content and publish out for optimal availability of information · Confirm that intranet content is correctly displayed and completeGeneral Knowledge Management Support:· Proactively identify performance and process improvement ideas· Participate in Knowledge Management tool development, standardization, and enhancement projects· Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)· Coordinate and lead special KM projects and sub-teams from planning to content launch· Review customer feedback and advocate content change requirements to the appropriate content owners and subject matter experts p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Qualifications Required:· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience · 2-3 years Knowledge Management experience (i.e. Architecting and Editing Content)· Strong User Interface (UI) / End User Experience (EUX) skills· 1-2 years of content editing/publishing experience; strong technical writing skills and strong understanding of content modeling and metadataPreferred:· 2+ years web content management experience, including web design, graphic creation and HTML knowledge· Demonstrated working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) (i.e. RedDot)· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Project, Visio)· Certified Usability Expert· Customer Service and/or Sales experienceOther: · Detail-oriented with strong editorial skills · Effective and proven verbal and written communication skills· Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills · Proven ability to analyze, organize and integrate large amounts of information into a clear concise summary· Strength in managing time, multitasking, and advanced organizational skills · Ability to effectively consult and communicate with internal teams at all levels of the organization· Must be a team player, but able to work independently and with minimal supervision· Advocate knowledge sharing and providing customers with the "Best in class" Experience· Be flexible and have the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment and provide rapid turnaround on deliverables· Available to work occasional evenings and/or weekends as needed for support of specific product, process, or system launches· Minimal travel required We are an equal opportunity employer m/f/d/v.
